Why hello there new year! I have a feeling this is going to be a great year! We are going to settle into our new house and make it our home (I cannot wait to get our pictures up on the walls again!) and we are going to continue to find balance in our lives. Harper will start Kindergarten in August and then she and Shyla will be on the same calendar and at the same location, which will make our lives a lot easier!
Today was a great day. We slept in. Then we got donuts and brought them to Stevie working at the new house. Shyla and I went to Color Me Mine because she wanted to paint a cougar-paw mug for Mr. Hope. Later, back at the new house, we met with a guy about building the wall and, good news, we can actually afford his bid! We wrapped up the day with a healthy, homemade dinner and watched the movie Annie as a family (while Stevie continued to work on the kitchen cabinets....have I mentioned how lucky I am?!?)
Yep, it's going to be a great year!
