So my mom and I just got back from a 3-day visit with my sister-and-brother-in-law and their adorable 10 week old twin girls (post coming soon)!
I had arranged for our hotel accommodations.
A word of advice: never let a busy pregnant lady make hotel reservations....unless you want a sweet upgrade.
When we arrived at the hotel my mom went to check us in because I (shockingly) had to use the restroom. When I came out, she had a really funny look on her face. As it turns out, I had us booked (and paid for) 30 nights, as opposed to the 2 nights we were scheduled for:
The nice young man working the counter explained that he could refund the difference, that it usually won't even accept reservations for longer than 28 days, and that they had upgraded us to a 2-bedroom suite (2 separate rooms, 2 separate bathrooms, fridge, microwave, etc) thinking we were going to be staying with them for a month.
Yes, we got to keep the upgrade for our 2-night stay.
Stevie's response, "Holy crap. See you in July."
